HOW TO GET
The conference will be held in the Amaragua Hotel (Torremolinos), right on the beach front. This hotel is ideally situated by the Mediterranean, at the Carihuela's pedestrian seafront promenade and within walking distance from world famous leisure port La Marina of Benalmádena.
Málaga Airport (AGP) in the south of Spain is located at about 7 kilometers east of the city of Torremolinos and 8 kilometers west of the city of Malaga, on the A7 coast road. Each year millions of people arrive with numerous flights from all over Europe and the rest of the world. Malaga is served by one of the busiest International airports in Spain and, as such, there are flights and connections to many major cities world wide.
Most of the major European carriers have regular scheduled direct flights to Málaga from many European cities, as well as via the hubs of Madrid or Barcelona. Many other Spanish national carriers have a plethora of direct flights to Malaga from many cities of Spain. Málaga is well served by flights from most major cities in the US, both by direct flights and by stopovers in Madrid or Barcelona. There are also direct charter flights.

From Málaga AGP airport to Torremolinos

Come out of Málaga AGP Arrivals Hall and you will see the taxi rank outside. The Málaga Airport Taxis will probably charge you the minimum charge from Málaga Airport, which is about 15 €.

When coming with a large group, a lot of luggage or looking for a private taxi you may know that there are many companies offering bus or taxi transfer from Málaga airport to Torremolinos.

To get a bus to Torremolinos from Málaga Airport you need to go to Málaga Train Station first and, then, change for a bus to Torremolinos. This is quite a long way for such a short journey and it is not recommended.

The Málaga Airport Train goes straight to Torremolinos. Tickets have to be bought before taking the train. Buy them from a machine at the entrance in your own language. It costs no more than 2.50 €. The trip takes 11 minutes and the trains run from 05.34 to 22.34. "Montemar", the nearest train stop to Amaragua Hotel in Torremolinos, is 6 stops from Málaga Airport and it is only five minutes walk to Amaragua Hotel.
The Spanish railway network is run by the state owned company RENFE. International trains from Europe terminate at either Madrid or Barcelona. From there you can catch a train to Málaga. If you are coming by car to Torremolinos, you can take the motorway Nacional-340 or the expressway AP7 or the Autovía del Mediterráneo.
