Each participant will receive a Congress Pack containing their name badge, the congress programme, the book of abstracts, the meal tickets, as well as other material and additional information.

LANGUAGE

All lectures are in English. There will be no facilities for simultaneous translation.

LIABILITY

The Organising Committee shall not be held liable for personal accidents, losses or damage to private property of registered delegates of the Congress. Attendees should make their own arrangements with respect to personal insurance.

COMMUNICATION CERTIFICATES

Certificates for oral communications will be delivered in the conference area by the chairperson during the oral sessions.
Certificates for poster communications and assistance certificates will be delivered in the conference office.

INTERNET

The conference venue will have open access wireless networks available for all conference participants.
Remember that the electric current in Spain is 220 V and plugs are two-pin continental sizes.

ADVICE TO SPEAKERS

Speakers should be in the CONFERENCE AREA 15 minutes before the beginning of the session and meet with the Chairperson.

  • Scheduled time for Plenary Lectures is 60 minutes: 50 min presentation plus 10 min discussion.
  • Scheduled time for Keynote Lectures is 30 minutes: 25 min presentation plus 5 min discussion.
  • Scheduled time for Oral Presentation is 20 minutes: 15 min presentation plus 5 min discussion.
  • Please, follow strictly the instructions of the Chairperson, especially with regard to the time allotted to the speech: do not go over the time limit.
  • You will find a laser pointer on the lectern to help you pointing out your slides if necessary. Please do not leave with it!

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

All speakers must use the computer provided at the conference venue. No personal laptops will be allowed for any oral presentations. Computers will be equipped with Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Office 2007, Adobe Acrobat Reader 8 and QuikTime.
We kindly ask all speakers to hand in their presentations at least 24 hours before their presentation is scheduled. Presentation should be saved preferentially on a USB stick.

ADVICE TO POSTER PRESENTERS

Please remember that the maximum size of the poster is 90 cm x 120 cm in Portrait format. All poster communications will be presented in both Poster Session 1 and 2, and should be on display from Monday morning, October 26th, until the end of Poster Section 2, Wednesday evening, October 28th, 20,00 h.
